Session: Developing Greater Inclusivity: Presenters Rebecca Calos

(Empire State Youth Orchestra) and Susan Lape (Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras) will describe their steps, challenges, and successes in developing programmatic initiatives that are inclusive and equitable for students of all backgrounds. From financial aid to ticketing and recruiting, you will learn from the panel and colleagues in this interactive session.

Session: Navigating Transitions in Small Organizations

Youth orchestras experience many transitions – new artistic or executive leadership, revolving board chairs, shifts in strategic direction, and growing pains to name a few. Join an engaging conversation with organizational consultant John McCann (Partners in Performance) who will lead us through a collaborative conversation about navigating the challenges of transitions.
